Scott Zacharias

A staple of Detroit’s underground, Scott Zacharias has spent decades moving fluidly between scenes—drumming in the city’s Space Rock circuit, co-founding Disco/Secret and Macho City, and pushing boundaries as half of The Fantasy (with BMG of Ectomorph). Best known for his marathon closing sets at No Way Back, Scott helped revive “Sleaze,” a sensual, slowed-down blend of gay leather disco and deep cosmic ambience. His sets move between hypnotic ambient, sleazy funk, and rare deep cuts, always with a dancer’s intuition and a historian’s ear. Whether channeling 1515 Broadway nostalgia or unearthing forgotten edits, Scott’s sound is immersive, unpredictable, and deeply intentional—crafted for the heads and built for sunrise moments.

Tone B Nimble

A “quality over quantity” selector with over 30 years behind the decks, Tone B. Nimble got his start in Chicago’s house scene, learning from legends like Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckles. Equally shaped by Hip-Hop culture, his DJ style blends deep crates of soul, funk, disco, and gospel into raw, spiritually charged sets. He co-runs Al-Tone Edits and Soul Is My Salvation, two labels driven by crate-digger curiosity and community values. Tone’s digging practice is grounded in history but never stuck in it—he’s just as excited about obscure dollar-bin finds as he is about new vinyl drops. Expect a set rooted in love, knowledge, and the dance floor’s collective energy.
Tony Troffa

Tony Troffa’s DJ journey began in Long Island record shops and New York’s vinyl havens like Dance Tracks and Vinylmania. His obsession deepened while hosting a college radio show where he tracked down rare samples and overlooked grooves. Tony’s selections pull from a wide spectrum—disco, jazz, funk, house, gospel, and genre-defying gems that sound like nothing else. He co-founded the Made In NY label with Chino3, known for elusive gospel edits and collector-grade releases. With past shows on Universal Rhythms and Dublab, Tony’s reputation as a deeply intentional selector is rooted in decades of curiosity, community, and care. Expect a crate-dug journey full of warmth, rhythm, and surprises.

Specter

Born and raised in Chicago, Specter was shaped by flea market digs, family parties, and radio cuts from Traxx and DJ International. A chance encounter with Damon Lamar sparked a lifelong collaboration and a deeper dive into Detroit techno, UK IDM, and Chicago’s rave and loft scenes. In 2001, they co-founded Tetrode Records—home to deeply textured, off-grid releases that caught the ear of heads like Theo Parrish. Specter’s sound blends hypnotic house, futuristic jazz, and weird, timeless rhythms that slip through genre and expectation. Whether in the booth or the studio, he plays for seekers—those chasing feeling, groove, and the beautifully strange.
Yuji Kawasaki

Tokyo-born and New York-based, Yuji Kawasaki has spent decades crafting immersive, emotionally tuned DJ sets shaped by his love of house, soul, and deep listening. He began DJing in Tokyo in the early ’90s before relocating to NYC, where the legacy of David Mancuso and Larry Levan deeply influenced his approach. His vinyl-focused label Improper Touch and the beloved Joy party series reflect his commitment to community and intention on the dance floor. Yuji’s sets blend warmth, risk, and sonic precision—equally suited for sunrise gatherings and intimate loft spaces. A true selector’s selector, his presence is calm but commanding, grounded in reverence for sound.

Russell E.L. Butler

Russell E.L. Butler is a sonic shapeshifter, known for blending dub, house, and raw electronic frequencies into deeply personal, politically charged works. A longtime fixture in the global DIY scene, she's released music on Ghostly, Tresor, Opal Tapes, and Mr. Saturday Night. In 2023, she joined the T4T Luv NRG label with two new projects: a solo LP and a club-heavy 12” as DJ Autopay. Russell’s sound draws from marginalized cultural histories, lived resistance, and radical joy—crafted to move bodies and shift systems. Whether in a gallery, warehouse, or field, her sets pulse with emotion, urgency, and fierce commitment to community care.
Fatik

Founder of Musicland and the mind behind Second Hand Records, Fatik has spent the last decade curating NYC’s underground through thoughtful bookings, rare releases, and immersive gatherings. As the driving force behind the upcoming Slow Motion weekender, his focus is on creating spaces where music connects people organically. Fatik’s DJ sets reflect the same care—digging into global psychedelia, gritty funk, and hypnotic dance floor cuts with a sense of ease and depth. Guided by vibration over hype, he plays like a connector and listener first. Expect a set that’s patient, transportive, and rooted in the joy of shared experience.

Hyanna

Hyanna is a curator, dancer, and selector whose dedication to intimate, music-forward experiences shapes everything she does. Behind the scenes and counter at Second Hand Records, she’s the quiet force driving the shop’s vibrant programming by shaping Musicland, hosting in-store sessions and producing After Hours dances that blend music, movement, and live instrumentation. She also co-organizes Slow Motion alongside Fatik. As a DJ, she brings out the soul and musicality felt across disco, jazz, gospel, Brazilian, world, and electronic music. Her sets balance sonic appreciation with the raw imperfections that make records special, always creating a connection that resonates beyond the music.
